Julian's Hall at The Barn Walla Walla — a vaulted room with exposed beams and a long live-edge walnut table

Escape the boardroom and bring your team to The Barn Walla Walla — a private luxury retreat set on ten acres of vineyards and farmland, ten minutes from downtown Walla Walla.

Built for leadership teams, executive retreats, company off-sites, planning sessions and incentive trips, the inn has seven independent luxury suites: an intimate alternative to a conference hotel, where your group is the only group.

The Whole Property, Exclusively Yours
Exclusive use

The Whole Property, Exclusively Yours

A full-property buyout gives your group all seven suites and every shared space at The Barn — an entire boutique inn, reserved for one company at a time.

Six Garden Suites plus The Granary, a one-of-a-kind suite built inside a converted grain silo. Each has its own exterior entrance, a king bed that can be split into twins with advance notice, an en-suite bathroom and a private Zen garden with a hot-water outdoor shower — so everyone gathers by choice, not because the walls are thin.

Outside, the seasonal heated pool and hot tub, covered veranda, courtyard, fire pit, Pushpa's Pond and the lawns are yours, along with bocce, croquet, cornhole and lawn bowling.

A Private Setting for Productive Meetings

The best ideas don't always happen in an office.

At the heart of the inn is Julian's Hall: a vaulted room with exposed beams, a fireplace and long live-edge black walnut tables that seat a team comfortably — for morning coffee, a working session, a catered dinner, or the evening after a day of tasting.

Between sessions there are quieter corners to take a call from, a covered veranda for breakouts, and ten acres to walk a conversation out on.

Make Wine Country Part of Your Retreat
Beyond the session

Make Wine Country Part of Your Retreat

We can make your stay more than a meeting. Depending on your group's interests, a retreat here can include winery visits and private tastings, group dining, a private chef, transportation recommendations, outdoor activities and customized Walla Walla experiences.

Between sessions, your group can experience everything Walla Walla is known for — exceptional wineries, beautiful countryside, dining, golf at Wine Valley Golf Club five minutes away, hiking and cycling.

Whether you're planning two days of strategy or a longer team getaway, we'll help you create a retreat that balances productivity with genuine time together.

Planning questions, answered

Can our company book The Barn Walla Walla exclusively?

Yes. The Barn Walla Walla offers a full-property buyout: all seven suites and every shared space — Julian's Hall, the heated pool and hot tub, the covered veranda, courtyard, fire pit, pond and grounds — reserved for your group alone. The buyout is bookable directly on this site, or we can hold dates while your numbers firm up.

How many people can stay at The Barn Walla Walla?

Up to 14 guests. The inn has seven suites — six Garden Suites plus The Granary — and each sleeps two registered guests in a king bed that can be configured as two twins with advance notice. Rollaways and extra sleeping arrangements aren't available, so 14 is a firm ceiling.

Is there meeting space for a corporate retreat?

Julian's Hall is the inn's gathering space: a vaulted room with exposed beams, a fireplace, comfortable seating and long live-edge black walnut tables that seat a team of 14. It's open to your group around the clock, there's free Wi-Fi on site, and the covered veranda and courtyard work well for breakouts. Tell us how you'd like the room set for your sessions.

When is The Barn Walla Walla open, and is there a minimum stay?

The inn is seasonal, open March 1 through October 31, with a two-night minimum. Three to four nights is the sweet spot for a retreat. The heated outdoor pool, hot tub and the suites' private outdoor showers run May through October.

Can you arrange meals, wine tastings and activities for our group?

Yes. We can arrange a private chef for a multi-course dinner in our dining room (parties of eight or more), winery visits and private tastings through our partner wineries, group dining downtown, transportation with local wine-tour companies, and golf at Wine Valley Golf Club five minutes away. Tell us what your group is after and we'll build the itinerary around your sessions.

Do you host weddings, parties or events with outside guests?

No. The Barn is designed for registered overnight guests and private gatherings connected to their stay, so weddings and events that bring additional unregistered attendees aren't permitted. A corporate retreat, board meeting or team off-site for the guests staying at the property is exactly what the buyout is for.

How do groups get to The Barn Walla Walla?

The inn is at 1624 Stovall Road, about ten minutes west of downtown Walla Walla. Walla Walla Regional Airport (ALW) has direct flights from Seattle; Pasco (PSC) is a 40-minute drive with more options, and Spokane, Portland and Seattle are all drivable. Parking is free on site, along with Level 2 EV charging.

Is The Barn Walla Walla adults-only?

The inn is normally adults-only and doesn't accept pets. For full-property buyouts, younger guests may be considered with prior approval — let us know before booking if anyone in your group is under 18.
