Our 6 Wine Districts

We have over 130 wineries in six wonderful wine districts in Walla Walla – each defined by its elevation and specific terroir and micro climate.

The Westside

Where we are located. If you are driving from the west, these are the wineries that you will encounter before entering Walla Walla. Some of our oldest, most established wineries are in this district.

Downtown

Over 30 tasting rooms that you can walk to, surrounded by restaurants and great shopping. Voted one of the most charming downtowns in the US.

Southside

Most of the vineyards are located here. The highly acclaimed wines match the spectacular views of the Blue Mountains.

Airport

Over a dozen wineries have set up inside old World War II-era hangars, mess halls and firehouses. The Wine Incubators are located here.

Eastside

Closest to the foothills of the Blue Mountains, the elevation and cooler temperatures support great wines.

Oregon

Still within the Walla Walla AVA, the famed Rocks District with its superb wines with that particular “funk” are to be found here.
